SUMMARY:Canoeing for Beginners
DESCRIPTION:by Mike Yeaman \n\n\n\nInspired by a true story – but any similarity to persons living\, or pretending to be dead is purely coincidental. \n\n\n\nBeryl and Frank want the retirement of their dreams\, and plan to achieve it with a canoeing accident to claim on life insurance. In this delicious modern farce everything goes disastrously wrong. The hapless couple are forced to deal with the attentions of their children Keith and Carol\, the very erstwhile police officer Sergeant Andy Watts and a shifty Cuban Official Mendoza. Follow their antics in the UK and in Cuba if you can\, but be warned – it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

SUMMARY:Andy Capp
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStarlight Theatre productions present this hilarious musical\, which is rarely performed because of its reflection of society at the time it was written in the 1980’s. It is\, however\, an extremely entertaining piece and well worth seeing. \n\n\n\nAndy is his usual\, feckless\, workshy self\, running rings around his long suffering wife Flo. Andy’s nephew\, Elvis is getting married. His fiancée is Raquel Scrimmett whose mother thinks she is a cut above the rest of the locals. Once she realises that Elvis has asked Andy to be his Best Man she… – well\, you will have to come and see the show to find out the mayhem that is unleashed! \n\n\n\nFull of great music by Alan Price and so many one liners by Trevor Peacock that you should book early in the week so you can come back later to hear the jokes you missed first time round\, its definitely not PC and not for the easily offended. However\, if you love a good laugh and good music and would like a great night out\, then get booked up now! Tickets are already flying out.

It’s ‘as it used to be’…..a totally great\, LIVE show! \n\n\n\nLiverpool-born Steve Quillon (whose 1960s group has a named brick in The Cavern Wall of Fame) leads The Fabs and all members have gigged at the new Cavern.
