Get Up and Tie Your Fingers

by Ann Coburn

7th - 12th September 2015

Set against the backdrop of the 1881 Eyemouth Fishing Disaster, the worst one in Britain - involving the loss of nearly twenty vessels and 180 men - this is a fictional account of three herring girls, Jean, Janet and young Molly, as they go about their everyday lives, their aspirations, hopes and how they cope with the grim toll of the sea..
