Three Hitchcocks for the price of one in our January section. Three one-act plays adapted for the radio by Joe Landry with live on-stage sound effects – The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps.

Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the best known and most influential filmmaker in the world. We present three stories. The Lodger is a story of the London fog. It captures a dark, shadowy and threatening world in which news boys shout out the latest headlines about murder. Sabotage, is a story where London is still endangered but this time by political mania. Plans are afoot to create widespread panic by setting off a bomb. The finale is The 39 Steps. A masterful blend of horror, comedy and romance. Richard Hannay must save England from its enemies and negotiate a precarious romance with Pamela.
