Heritage Open Day

The Progressive Players are pulling back the curtain and inviting you to step backstage on this access-all-areas tour of the Little Theatre.

You’ll hear about how, against all odds, we were the only theatre that was built in the country during World War II.

You’ll see the vast props stores and wardrobe department. If you’ve ever wondered how sets get built or how stage lighting works, you’ll find out.

Please note that the backstage areas have narrow corridors and there are a number of steps and stairscases on the tour route.
